A New Kind of Spirit

Click one of the posters from my campaign to take a closer look. This is the kind of publicity that we need for spirit to thrive. I will work to publicize events concerning MHS in this same way throughout the school year. That will serve to bring a greater spirit to MHS.
 MHS is an exciting place. These years in high school are supposed to be great, spirited, and fun. And I'm not saying that they are not significantly this way already. However, there is always room for further improvement. Many things can help to contribute to the overall environment at MHS.



Bringing ideas through publicity to their fruition will create a greater spirited environment at MHS. Sophomores, please give me your vote so that I continue to receive the opportunities that student council offers me. And everyone else, be leaders yourselves and make MHS a better place.

Ideas -> Publicity -> Excited Students = Spirit

  • Ideas

    - There are many great events inspired by simple ideas going on at MHS.
    - However, we are able to do so much more.
    - Fresh ideas will bring a greater spirit to MHS.
    - Ideas must be given a chance even if they are likely to fail.

    So the bottom line here is, there are many new ways to promote school spirit at MHS. It only takes one successful good idea. Even the little things can have a profound impact on school spirit.

  • Publicity

    - We need better coverage of all the things going on at MHS.
    - The information must be presented creatively, and be spread throughout MHS.
    - We need new and exciting events to be created and then publicized.
    - Without new things going on less will become involved.

    So the bottom line here is, we need new spirited events at MHS. Leaders must take the initiative in new endeavors to see if they work. And other events already taking place must be publicized effectively.

  • Excited Students

    - So this is where YOU come in.
    - Without you, there is no spirit.
    - You need to be a leader yourself, setting an example for others.
    - If something fun is going on, become involved and make these years the best of your life.

    So the bottom line here is, have that contagious spirit yourself. If you become involved others will follow.

 Also, check out the student council web-page that I hope to be able to host soon on the official MHS web-site. That is, once all technicalities can be sorted out.
